Biography and Résumé

Alice Anne Ellis is Scottish, has traveled widely, and has has been a resident of Richmond, Virginia, for over 20 years. When she is not making art, she is a librarian.

She has a degree in Philosophy from St. Andrews University in Scotland, with a minor in Art History, and she has a graduate degree in Library Science from Robert Gordon's University in Aberdeen, Scotland.

She continued her art education with classes at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design at the University of Dundee, Virginia Commonwealth University, the Studio School at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and the Visual Arts Center.

She has had work in numerous juried and group shows in the Richmond area, and has been an artist member of artspace Gallery since 2015 (www.artspacegallery.org).
